Making Video CDs from iMovies

    Toast automatically installs 2 files that make it possible to export iMovies to ToastÕs Video CD format.

    • Toast Video CD Export (iMovie Plugins folder)
    • Toast Video CD Support (System Folder/Extensions folder)

Exporting iMovies to ToastÕs Video CD Format

    After you have finished your iMovie creation, follow this procedure:

    The iMovie file is exported to the place you selected. Toast opens automatically, and the exported iMovie is prepared and placed in the Toast Video CD window, ready to record.

    1 Choose Export Movie from the iMovie File menu.
    2 In the Export Movie dialog box that appears, choose Export To: QuickTime from the pop-up menu.
    3 Next, choose Toast Video CD (NTSC) from the Formats menu
    4 Click Export.
    5 Choose where you want the file to go and click Save.

Dragging iMovies to the Video CD Window

    You can record a Video CD from a previously exported iMovie.

    1 Click Other in the Toast window and hold down the mouse button.
    2 Choose Video CD from the pop-up menu that appears.
    3 Drag the exported iMovie file to the Video CD window.

    Toast 5 Titanium prepares the movie for recording to Video CD.
