Adjusting the sound volume

If you see the Now Playing screen, which shows the title of the song playing, you can use the scroll wheel to adjust the volume.

If you don't see the Now Playing screen, select Now Playing in the main menu. Then use the scroll wheel to raise or lower the volume.

If no song is playing, you can't change the volume.

To set how loud iPod plays when you turn it on, select Startup Volume in the Settings menu.
