Creating lists of your favorite songs

A playlist is a list of songs that you create. You might want to create playlists to suit specific moods, or to group all songs by an artist or with a certain theme.

To create a playlist: Choose New Playlist from the File menu, then type a name for the playlist in the source list. To add a song, drag the song from your library to the playlist. To change the order of songs, select the playlist, then drag the song titles into the order you want.

You can also drag songs from a CD to a playlist. If you drag a song from a CD to a playlist, the song is automatically imported into your library before it's added to the playlist.
