Installing additional plug-ins

You can install additional visual effects and MP3 player plug-ins for use with iTunes. Note that plug-ins are for either the Mac OS 9 or Mac OS X version of iTunes. Be sure to obtain the correct type for your version of iTunes.

Drag the plug-in to the plug-ins folder that is in the same location as the iTunes application.

A development kit that programmers can use to create additional iTunes Visual Effect plug-ins for Mac OS 9 is available from Apple Developer Connection. For more information see http://developer.apple.com/sdk
