Sharing your Mac OS 9 music library with iTunes for Mac OS X

You can share your iTunes music library between Mac OS 9 and Mac OS X.

To share your Mac OS 9 iTunes music library:

If there's already an iTunes folder in the Documents folder in your Mac OS X home, drag it to the Trash. Make an alias of the iTunes folder that is inside the Documents folder on your Mac OS 9 startup disk. Drag the alias to the Documents folder in your Mac OS X home. Change the name of the alias from "iTunes alias" to "iTunes."

The iTunes folder contains the iTunes Music Library file and the iTunes Music folder with your encoded songs.
