Express Talk is a VoIP softphone that allows you to talk from your PC
to any other PC with a softphone. It uses the SIP protocol and is
compatible with most major VoIP SIP service providers.

- Make calls direct from PC to PC, or to ordinary phones via a VoIP SIP service provider.
- Supports up to 6 lines, each configurable with their own SIP line settings.
- Ability to put a caller on hold and play basic or professional on-hold music (through the IMS On-Hold player software).
- Call transfer and forwarding supported (must be supported by your VoIP provider as well).
- Supports Call Conferencing and Office Intercom "Press-to-Talk" technology.
- Record any conversation made through the software (see here).
- Can be used with a headset, a microphone and speakers , or the Express USB phone device.
- Can be configured to work behind NATs and Firewalls using UPnP or STUN methods.
- Supports GSM, G.711 uLaw, G.711 aLaw and PCM audio codecs.
- Supports echo cancellation and noise reduction when using a microphone and speakers.
- Store and access thousands of contact phone numbers in the Express Talk Address Book.
- "Do Not Disturb" option stops others from calling you when you are busy with other matters.
- Setup multiple instances on a network and integrate them using the Axon Virtual PBX software.
- Send and receive video
System Requirements
- Windows 98/ME/2000/XP/2003/Vista.
- Pentium 500MHz or above with at least 32MB RAM (64MB for 2000/XP/2003).
- A sound card that supports full-duplex audio
- A headset with an in-built mic, or a microphone and a set of speakers
- Broadband connection highly preferred (56k dial-up connection can be used, but performance is not guaranteed) **
- (Optional) A VoIP service provider
- (Optional) Video/Web camera
