Heres some questions I'm imagining some of you will ask: 1. Which one of these browsers will have the easiest time loading modern web pages? I haven't tried most of these (yet), but I assume Retrozilla is probably the best in most use cases. If your computer is connected to a proxy (see below), firefox can be a bit better as there are less obnoxious popups from websites that fail to load properly. 2. Why can't I view many webpages? Most of the modern web doesn't use plain old unencrypted http anymore. No browser here supports the most modern https encryption, so unfortunately if you want to read the modern web there are 2 options: A. Use frogfind.com to load modern webpages in plain text (Unless you need to download things it's better than you'd think, give it a try) B. Set up a local proxy on another computer, webone is a good proxy, but as far as I know there is no windows version of it. If this sounds intimidating, it is bundled with a software pack called retronas which contains many other tools that make using retro computers so much easier, and can be installed onto a relatively cheap and small raspberry pi board instead of your home computer.
