Time Relief for their unique requirements. To accomplish this, start the
program and complete the following steps:

* From the initial screen (logon), select "system manager' and click on the
"system button"

* When the "password screen" appears, type in PASSWORD and press
enter.

Your are now at the program management area of Time Relief

* Select the "Utilities" drop-down menu and from the menu select
"Add/Edit ID's" to bring up the system security window. From this window
you can add, edit or delete individuals or projects.

* The first step is to edit the System Manager profile. This is done to
create a secret password so that only the System Manager has access to
adding, deleting or editing records.

* Select the profile (system manager) to begin the edit. This will bring up
the system security profile screen

* From the Security Profile screen, select the "password block" and type a
new password.

* Once a new password for the system manager has been entered, click the
"OK Button" to save the password and continue. Make sure you or the
system manager keep the password secure and do not give it to other
individuals. Persons with the System Manager password have access to
all areas of the program and can add, delete or edit records.

The next step will allow the System manager to add new records to the
database from the Profile Screen.

* Beginning with the ID block, enter up to an 11 character (alpha or
numeric) designator for the new record. Examples are the individuals
Social Security number or Employee Identification Number. Note: it is
very important that this ID block information be unique for each
individual.

* Next, enter the name of the individual being added (limit of 32
characters)

* Enter in the password block a unique password (minimum of 3 and
maximum of 8 alpha or numeric characters) for the individual being
added. This password can be used by the system manager to grant specific
individuals the ability to add, delete or edit the databases.

* The next block (Start Date) is an optional data block. The default is the
current system date, but it can be edited to reflect another date such as the
date an employee began working for the company.

* A the bottom of the profile screen, the System Manager indicates which
areas of the program manager the individual is authorized access. Check
those areas the individual will have access to. Unchecked areas are
denied access to the individual. The areas are as follows:

1. Management Tools -- Allows access to systems management area.
2. Edit Entries -- Allows access to edit daily time entries.
3. Print Reports -- Allows access to print time reports.
4. Purge Data -- Allows access to delete individual/group entries.
5. System Security -- Allows access to add/edit or delete ID records.
