Digital Equipment Corporation PDP-11/35 - June 27, 2026

This PDP-11/35 was also donated by the family of Melvin L. Cunningham. The details about getting it here are in the 11/34's post, but this is definitely my favorite system in the collection. The front panel with the lights and switches is great to use, and looks very cool when the system is running. This machine is in great shape, and after the initial checkout/cleaning, it fired right up with no problems. It has passed a variety of the XXDP diagnostics, and has run UNIX V6 very well. I'll be working on expanding it a bit more to have more serial ports, and work more on the software side to get UNIX V6 recompiled for this set of hardware. I am hoping to allow people to login to this system as well soon! Updated 08/26/2026.
